Testimonial

“My introduction to Jianshu Cheng occurred in early May of 2013. Severe pain in my lower back and hip made it difficult to walk or sleep. Two cortisone shots and physical therapy had been unsuccessful. Persistent pain continued and I wanted to avoid further cortisone treatments. A friend suggested I see Jianshu.

I had many questions regarding acupuncture. Is it effective? Does it hurt? What kind of training does an acupuncturist have? Who is Jianshu Cheng? I did research before my first appointment. Although I still had questions, I went anyway.

I am now walking, sleeping, and participating fully in life without pain. Jianshu is an incredibly insightful, skillful, humble, dedicated health care professional, and a wonderful human being. His singular goal is your healing. He begins the treatment session by listening intently to what you say and to what your body is saying. He focuses on the particular pain or problem that brought you to him.

Jianshu respects and recognizes that you are a whole person and offers suggestions that help you become an active part of the total healing process. He does not over-promise or otherwise “hype” the benefits of acupuncture. Instead, he conveys a quiet confidence that inspires confidence for your own recovery. He has a winsome sense of humor and has become a friend as well as a trusted health care professional.” — Bill H.
